Pittsburgh PCMA & what Pittsburgh can offer your Meeting & Event

Rob CarachiloRoberts' News that Caught our Eye

Pittsburgh will be home to PCMA’s 2019 Convening Leaders Convention in January. In order to gear up for this exciting meeting coming to Pittsburgh we have put together some of the new restaurants, bars, breweries and hotels opening in the city.

New Bars:

Bridges & Bourbon –high-end cocktail destination

Lorelei –combination beer hall and bistro

Level 7 – seventh-floor bar of the AC Hotel offering indoor/outdoor seating

New Restaurants:

Revival on Lincoln – upscale American served in a 116 year old building

Walter’s Barbecue – Texas Barbecue from the founders of Morgan’s Barbecue in Brooklyn, NY

Bonfire Food & Drink – double-decker dining experience featuring casual grub, local brews, upscale cuisine and late-night cocktails.

New Breweries:

Spring Hill Brewing – operating out of a former social club that was founded in 1900.  The Workingmen’s Beneficial Union (or WBU for short) was a community space for German immigrants and once housed a ballroom and a six-lane bowling alley.   It closed in 1999 and suffered a lot of damage while shuttered.   A three-year renovation has brought it back to life

Enix Brewing Company – First started with the development of two breweries in Madrid, this Pittsburgh brewpub includes a full service restaurant with beer, wine, liquor, outdoor beer garden with live music, and an eight lane bowling alley upstairs.

New Hotels:

AC Hotel – this boutique hotel opened in July 2018

Rivers Casino Hotel – slated to open Fall 2018

The Oaklander – an Autograph Collection Hotel by Marriott opening December 2018

Moxy Hotel – this sleek, edgy division of Marriott Hotels will open first quarter 2019

We are excited for PCMA to come to Pittsburgh and experience all this great city has to offer!
