IMEX Vegas
As a leader in the events industry, each year we travel and exhibit at IMEX Vegas. It is a large showcase of the who’s who in hotels, meetings, incentives and events. Each year brings an opportunity to showcase the region we service- Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware. It allows us to showcase all of the new and exciting hotels in Philadelphia, as well as the new resort properties in Atlantic City. It gives us an opportunity to connect to our clients we service in growing areas like Pittsburgh which has been on the rise of hosting meetings & events. Here are a few of my take a ways from IMEX:
- Location, location, location. Some hot & trendy locations are always going to be on people’s hit list, but other meeting planners are looking for places that can meet their budgets and are tried and true for groups with their needs.
- It’s a good glimpse into the clients we serve, and their attendees that we entertain. Being at a tradeshow or a work conference is exhausting. Days start earlier with networking and education breakfasts and the evening receptions are late. It’s good to experience this first hand as it gives you a renewed perspective for why it is so important to wow attendees at each opportunity.
- New ideas. When we exhibit at IMEX, we are within the Hosts Global booth with our member offices from around the world. It is a great opportunity to share ideas and discuss trends we’re seeing.
