Roberts Event Group wins 2 ADMEI (Association of Destination Management Executive International) Awards at 2019 gala in Houston, TX! Winning for Best Public Event for Camden Night Gardens, as well as winning Members Choice award.
This marks the 4th & 5th ADMEI award presented to Roberts Event Group.
About the event: Camden Night Gardens is an outdoor nighttime public festival that aims to foster community vibrancy through the arts. This highly anticipated event transforms underutilized open spaces with temporary light, sound, and projection installations to visually connect neighborhoods, engage the community, and attract visitors from the region. In additional to music, dancing, food trucks, community art installations, and interactive workshops; this year featured a 300’ zip line, a fireworks show, two large water installations, a sandbox and bonfire pits. Camden is the poorest city in the nation and considered one of the most dangerous, with a crime rate of 68 per one thousand residents. By theming this year’s Camden Night Gardens “Tides of Change,” we not only incorporated the Delaware River waterfront (where the event took place), we also made a statement to residents that their city is investing in the people who live there and in community programming to improve quality of life.
